DAY TOUR AT THE NAIROBI CITY CENTER
Whether you are a resident or a visitor, Nairobi is one of the most remarkable cities in Africa and has some amazing spots to explore.
At 8:30 am, our trained driver/guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi and begin the trip to the Nairobi National Museum. Founded in 1920, the Nairobi National Museum moved to its current location in 1929. This is a good place to start if you want to learn about the history, people, culture, and art of the nation. The Museum seeks to explain Kenya's rich legacy and provides visitors with a one-stop shop to taste the nation's rich heritage for both educational and recreational purposes. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on each of the 356 days of the year.
At 10:30 am, leave the museum and start the drive to City centre where we will find a parking and start the walk to the August Memorial park. The August 7th Memorial Park is located at the 1998 Bomb blast scene along Haile Selassie Avenue. It is dedicated to those who lost their lives and contains a notice board listing their names. This will take like an hour.
Then we will drive to the Kenyatta International Conference Centre which is internationally renowned venue for conferences, meetings, exhibitions and special events and among the tallest buildings in Nairobi. You can go to the rooftop and enjoy a marvelous and exclusive view of the city. This will take an hour.
You will later be taken to a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious African dishes (OPTIONAL) at your own expense .
